Storyline: The game begins in the year 2077, just before the nuclear bombs fall. Players start as a character known as the Sole Survivor, who emerges from a cryogenic sleep in a Vault (a fallout shelter) 210 years later. The main storyline revolves around searching for your kidnapped son, Shaun, while uncovering the fate of the pre-war world. The player encounters various factions and must make choices that affect the game's outcome.
